| depending on what type of supporting mods you have.. This would be on race gas and advanced timing. The GT28R is a very responsive turbo. But to me.. It made it seem like it wasn't even a turbo car (in some aspects). I could definitely (personally) live with a little lag.. The RS's that I have, have custom compressor housings and custom MS inlet pipes that were modified by Mike Smith himself,.. I think I should have almost stock lag with my new setup. Maglito has almost the same turbo setup as myself. except his inlet pipes use a flange.. where mine use a coupler and there is no abrupt difference in the inlet pipe size--> turbo inlet (less turbulence). Whatever you choose.. just set a goal and work toward that. You won't be dissapointed with either turbo.. Just make sure you get the .64a/r turbine housings.
